Workbox Wednesday ~ Preschool

Each Wednesday I am going to post what we have in our Workboxes. So I don't overwhelm myself I will alternate each week with Preschool, K/1st grade, 6th grade and our family workboxes.

This week I am featuring Monkey's Preschool (36 months):

Photobucket

1. "Aa" page from Homeschool Creations Astronaut Preschool Pack

2. "1" coloring page from Teach Me Joy's Animal Play Preschool Curriculum and 1 marker, 1 circle, 1 block, 1 dragonfly and 1 foam 1

3. "Ant Colony" pages 8-9 in I Love Animal Homes

4. Pre-Writing page from Confessions of a Homeschooler: Letter A for Apple

5. Colors from Education Cubes

Monkey will also join us (hopefully) for our family workboxes: jobs, religion and PE.

Did you get a membership at http://www.educationcubes.com/ too? I use the
cubes for Ladybug to throw around and practice her sight words, Monkey
practices his colors and shapes and Unicorn uses them to practice
identifying coins and multiplication. There are tons of other things we
could use them for but that is all I have downloaded off the site so far!
Let me know how you end up using them!

  3. yeah I joined the site too, I meant more along the lines like you have that color one up there, so do you just roll it and they say the color, get something of that color?  I guess I just need to brain storm...I love the concept of it...

Right now my 3yo just throws it and tells me the color but you could do a
scavenger hunt type thing (same with letters or shapes). For sight words you
could have them roll and then write/paint/draw the words. Also, I think the
developer of education cubes has just started a show-and-tell type link up
that we could get ideas from. I will be checking that out soon! Have fun!
